Thirty builders, one rooftop in Mumbai, and whatever bug you've been refusing to look at since August. You get paired with someone who has never seen your codebase, which turns out to be the point — explaining the problem out loud to a stranger fixes roughly a third of them before anyone opens an editor. There are no talks and no slides. There is chai at midnight. You leave when the test goes green or when the sun comes up, and both of those count as finishing.
